Radstream
Does anyone know if the new streamlined PayPal payment work with osCommerce? This is apparently a new (?) feature of PayPal that does not require a person to sign-up for a PayPal account to make a payment to a person with a PayPal account. Anyone??? safoo
Yes it will work. Install the new paypal_shopping_cart_ipn contribution. Then in your paypal options at paypal.com there is a setting that you can change to not require a customer to have an account.
Viking
where in paypal does one see this ability to have customers not sign up again, I have looked and fail to see it. One of the things I do see in paypal is wther or not to turn IPN on or not, if I have the paypal ipn contribution, wuld i need to worry about that>? Radstream
I had to look around for the option but I found it. After logging on to PayPal, just go to your My Account tab, then your Preferences tab. On the bottom right column is a link to Website Payment Preferences. Click on that. After that page comes up, go to the bottom and find the PayPal Account Optional option and turn it on. I will be checking the PayPal_shopping_cart_ipn later today to make sure it works correctly. Oh, on the PayPal topic, has anyone lost sales because they only process with PayPal? TNX AGN! Ken
