Z06BAIT 1 Posted April 9, 2004 Well now that PayPal allows non-users to pay by credit card without signing up for a PayPal account, I've noticed that even with the PayPal link, most non-users don't know this. So ... if you take a look at my site, www.ByunMotorsports.com, what I had done is set up a PayPal icon so people with PayPal know that I accept PayPal. Well, non-PayPal users don't know that they can use PayPal as a payment option even if they don't have an account. So I threw up the ol' Visa/MasterCard/Discover icon also to let them know I accept credit cards. Then in my payment option, I created a new file by copying the paypal.php and renaming it creditcard.php, modified the wording a little, so now when people check out, they can click on the Credit Card radio button and they'll be taken straight to the PayPal checkout screen where they can enter their credit card number for nonPayPal users. I thought this would be nice to mention for those who didn't know. Remember what the Bible says: He who is without sin, cast the first rock. And I shall smoketh it. edesignz 0 Posted April 12, 2004 A question regarding non member paying using paypal. I have a UK premier account, does this mean non members can make payments to me? Does the cash come through straight away or do you have to wait until they have opened their paypal account? Thanks for your help Steve

xer0 0 Posted May 8, 2004 I want to try and setup the osc w/paypal but I am afraid, I only know some html, front page and dreamweaver. Can you tell me how difficult it is to setup and are there many issues? Also can you tell me after you set paypal up w/osc are shoppers able to checkout as a guest, or do they have to sign up? Do you know if that whole Member logon/visit stuff can be removed? Thanks x
