traceypee
Thanks for that. I did what you said and it works on the select deliveries page (i.e. it displays the flat rate and the alternative flat rate) but it doesn't show on the confirm order page (i.e. even if you have selected the alternative rate it only shows the normal flat rate). If you've any ideas as to why this would be, I would be eternally grateful.
berkedam
there are some more places that you have to change, search for the places where the other flat.php is referenced and add the data for the new one. berkedam
sorry, no other changes to be made, i was thinking of new boxes. zones + sort order in the new_flat.php are changed to reflect the diff compared with flat.php? maybe check db with PHPMyAdmin if all is O.K i don't understand why it should not work Quote "If you're working on something new, then you are necessarily an amateur." 500whp.com
Is there a way to only use Flat Rates for Certain products on the site? For example: Type A products: regular shipping only Type B products: regular shipping only Type C products: Flat Rate Shipping ONLY?

crafterscafe
I tried this - I renamed the flat.php file flatlarge.php while keeping the original. I did this in includes/mods/ship/ and incl/lang/eng/mod/ship but I get an error message: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class flat in /hsphere/local/home/smlwfara/crafterscafe.com/catalog/includes/modules/shipping/flatlarge.php on line 13 any ideas?
