Help with Authorize.net

I'm fairly new to OSC so please go easy on me. The problem I'm having is this:

 

I have a new account with Authorize.net, but when I try to run ANY valid Credit Card through my cart, I get this message:

 

"The first four digits of the number entered are: <br>If that number is correct, we do not accept that type of credit card.<br>If it is wrong, please try again." (wth the <br> and everything).

 

This happens regardless of whether I"m in testing mode or not. Auth.net says it isn't their fault.

 

I have searched through forums on this issue, and it seems fairly common, but no one seems to have posted a fix, (or if they have, I haven't seen it).

 

If you have any clues, or if I need to post more info please let me know.

What number are you using?

Using OSC 2.2 MS2 and the default Auth.net module. Is there a different module I should be using?

What cc number are you using for testing. You should use 4007000000027 for VISA.

Using that CC # I still get the same message:

 

"Credit Card Error!

The first four digits of the number entered are: <br>If that number is correct, we do not accept that type of credit card.<br>If it is wrong, please try again."

 

Any other ideas I can try?

this is controlled from cc_validate.php. The error occurrs when you get a return of -1 from that file. Try and verify that cc_validate.php looks good.
