Need easy populate files to be automated.

Recommended Posts

I need easy populate files to be generated at least once per day and stored on the server. Could I use a cron job somehow to do this?

Try something like this with Perl:

#!/usr/bin/perl
use LWP::Simple;
$doc = get('http://myurl.com/catalog/easypopulate.php?download=tempfile&dltype=full');

This executes a PHP page using Perl. If you want to keep the page output, the output is in $doc. As-is, this will fail if the URL is password protected. Add a cron entry to run the Perl script once it is working.

tried

dominio.com/admin/easypopulate.php?usrfl=listproduct.csv

Or maybe

find

$file = tep_get_uploaded_file('usrfl');

and change to:

$file = $_GET['csv'];

and call
dominio.com/admin/easypopulate.php?csv=listproduct.csv

i dont test this.

Just so you know, you've been answering questions that were asked 10-15 years ago, by people that haven't been online for almost as long.
