Comments please on updated site - now uses BTS

Hi,

I posted our site recently for comments (thanks). It's just been completely changed, which includes the use of BTS (actually using BTS-1). This is a fantastic contribution. Thanks to Brenden Vickery and all for this great contribution. It was a big job however. I had many mods which had to be rolled back in, but it's been worth it. There's still a few more minor things to do (suppose this is always the case). The page now loads at least 50% faster - although the layout is different.

I'd appreciate any comments on the new look, and functionality. What are your thoughts on colors, layout etc. (I've really struggled with this)

The one thing I've noticed is that using a Google simulator, I don't get any of the text on the main page as "spidered text". Any ideas?

I've also run it through http://validator.w3.org/ and the main problem is with the use of <spacer type="block" ...> which I use in some html code for main page. I can't figure out why. Any ideas as to what's wrong with the use of this.

You'll also notice I use a non-OSC menu (the menu is generated with something I purchased). Thoughts on this?

Thanks,

Mark

Hi,

I've solved the spidered text problem. My login box I modified for BTS was broken.

Any ... comments on site appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark
