I'm one of "those poor, unfotunate souls" that has had to perform the duplicate instalation of osCommerce. Even when I select the click on the index file in the https://Catalog/Admin folder it still pops the open version. Try changing the permissions to 0 first and see what happens. Or download the admin section and then delete the server copy. If something goes wrong, just put it back.
