I am facing the configure.php problem. My host is running Linux. I have changed the configure.php in the ../shop/includes to 706 and 777. This is the erro message. Can you advice me in this regard?

Please perform the following actions:

cd /home/4ginfor/public_html/jdshop/includes/

touch configure.php

chmod 706 configure.php

cd /home/4ginfor/public_html/jdshop/admin/includes/

touch configure.php

chmod 706 configure.php

 

If chmod 706 does not work, please try chmod 777.

 

If you are running this installation procedure under a Microsoft Windows environment, try renaming the existing configuration file so a new file can be created.

Hi,

 

I logged in to my server and noticed through my phpMyadmin, the tables are created. But while installing, i could not move from Step 7.

Use an FTP program to chmod to the recommended values.

I have already done it. but no use..

Yeah, Matt, Its working now.. I forgot to chmod to both of the folders. Thanks, its really helpful..
