Brent UK
Hi. I have just installed the printable catalog contribution and have the following problem. Installation went smoothly enough no errors at all, but when I click on the printable catalog button in the infobox, it loads a new blank page and that's it. I have checked the settings in admin under configuration / printable catalogue they seem ok. The readme mentions that there is an option under admin / configuration --> 1- install printable_catalog_admin.sql. using phpadmin and loading this scriptinto the OSC database will give you display control from the admin section just look under Admin-configuration-products listing= all listings have "Display Printable Catalog" The sql file installed fine, but I cannot see any mention to "display printable catalog" in product listings at all. the site is in testing at the mo but is located here if anyone could take a look http://www.eroticshopuk.co.uk Thanks Brent

crshNbrn
I would make sure you have it defined in the application_top.php Quote crshNbrn living on the edge.....
blueline
in ms2 you must define all filenames in filenames.php and ensure that you are refrencing filenames.php in application_top.php. My advice, double check your definitions. Quote Chris Sullivan

crshNbrn
The fact that you dont have the file should have been the wake up call to reread the readme and find out that this release is strickly for MS2 shops. Paycheck
I did have that thought in the back of my head however it does not ring clear when you have it working once and all the sudden it goes freaky on you. It was working, I like the newer edition though now. Thanks JM Quote Always remember, we need patience, guidance and most of all understanding. sinbad
First off thank you for the contribution. I have installed it and it is working, however I'm also running the special prices mod for group pricing and when I click printable catalog link it shows the default retail price and not the group price for that customer login. If anyone is using the two together or knows which lines to edit please let me know. joelheck
Overall the contribution works very well. I must have a different version of "categories.php", as I cannot find a place to put it in there to make it work. I am using: $Id: categories.php,v 1.25 2003/07/09 01:13:58 hpdl Exp $ Not a big deal but the Info box is rarely looked at. I placed in there quite easily, but the code in "categories.php" is some what different. Quote Building new concepts, a step at a time.

Guest
Same here- it comes up as page not found BUT with an URL showing in the address bar as: http://www.oldewillowstitchery.com/catalog...CTS_WITH_IMAGES I've double-checked the filename references and made sure filenames.php is being called from application_top: DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG); } // include the list of project filenames require(DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'filenames.php'); // include the list of project database tables but it still acts like it doesn't know what it's looking for- any ideas where else I could check for the (apparently) missing define? Guest
Sorry about the double posts- I hit preview and it took me to the flood control warning page so I didn't think it took.
Guest
I fixed mine- I removed the space between products.php and the mod line like so: define('FILENAME_POPUP_SEARCH_HELP', 'popup_search_help.php'); define('FILENAME_PRIVACY', 'privacy.php'); define('FILENAME_PRODUCT_INFO', 'product_info.php'); define('FILENAME_PRODUCT_LISTING', 'product_listing.php'); define('FILENAME_PRODUCT_REVIEWS', 'product_reviews.php'); define('FILENAME_PRODUCT_REVIEWS_INFO', 'product_reviews_info.php'); define('FILENAME_PRODUCT_REVIEWS_WRITE', 'product_reviews_write.php'); define('FILENAME_PRODUCTS_NEW', 'products_new.php'); define('FILENAME_REDIRECT', 'redirect.php'); define('FILENAME_REVIEWS', 'reviews.php'); define('FILENAME_SHIPPING', 'shipping.php'); define('FILENAME_SHOPPING_CART', 'shopping_cart.php'); define('FILENAME_SPECIALS', 'specials.php'); define('FILENAME_SSL_CHECK', 'ssl_check.php'); define('FILENAME_TELL_A_FRIEND', 'tell_a_friend.php'); define('FILENAME_UPCOMING_PRODUCTS', 'upcoming_products.php');// CATALOG_PRODUCTS_WITH_IMAGES_mod define('FILENAME_CATALOG_PRODUCTS_WITH_IMAGES', 'catalog_products_with_images.php');?>
jello1
I don't get it... you removed what white space?.... and where? did this fix the blank page issue? Guest
does anyone have this working so i can view it in action?
Guest
in the file itself there was an extra space where the red X is in this quote: IMAGES',X 'catalog_products_with_images.php');?> I removed that and it works now, here is my mainpage, just click on the printable catalog link: http://www.oldewillowstitchery.com/catalog/ Why that made a difference? I've no idea. Quin
