johnram1979 0 Posted July 29, 2022 so i have installed the v4 on localhost using xampp install went fine but at the end when you select store it shows nothing unless there is a folder with name of store you want to use a with copy of all files from main oscommerce folder inside i can then get a homepage showing folder structure is oscommerce (with all files)/furniture (with all files) this shows a web site exept there is no admin accessible and also cannot create any customer accounts
nedragdnuos 2 Posted September 1, 2022 I am having the same problem, I am unable to access the admin or shop side via xampp on my windows machine, was never a problem previously with the old 2.3.4.1 etc, anyone found a way to get it to work as I would like to set it up remotely and set it up properly before attempting a live run. Also does anyone know where all the old addons have gone, all I see is the app store, and I was looking for an add on to double check something.

This really should be done automatically in my opinion. Maybe in a future version. 2 hours ago, nedragdnuos said: I am unable to access the admin or shop side via xampp on my windows machine It's a known problem. See my post here. The oscommerce team, apparently, doesn't consider it important. I think it is a big mistake on their part. 2 hours ago, nedragdnuos said: Also does anyone know where all the old addons have gone They were removed by the new owners. They said they would be added back in but nothing so far. 1 patrocine reacted to this Support Links: For Hire: Contact me for anything you need help with for your shop: upgrading, hosting, repairs, code written, etc. Get the latest versions of my addons Recommended SEO Addons
