How to change banner image

Recommended Posts

It depends on your shops version. The ability to display banners was limited in older versions of oscommerce and relied on manually changing the code. Addons were developed for some that allowed changing them in admin. So you will need to figure out how the banners are displayed to know how to change them. If your admin has a modules section, check it for a module that displays banners. If not, then it is problem in your files. The code was in the footer by default but it was possible to move it to the header, which is where yours is displaying.

The image is https://perualpacayarn.com/images/banners/b1.jpg

Just upload the new file using the same image name b1.jpg.

Use Ftp or your CPanel file manager. Load to public_html/images/banners. Clear browser cache and you are done.

i have older version and have to be changed manually. It was easy, if you know it. I made  changes 4 years ago myself. now I forgot and I am afraid to make things worse.

It looks like it is controlled by the Banner Manager.

It is trying to go to https://perualpacayarn.com/redirect.php?action=banner&goto=3

So Go to Tools > Banner Manager and find this banner and fix the link.
