installed Phoenix 1.4.0 version, created a sub-category folder cytric, and move the lemon into it

can use search and get lemon, it will show it is under cytric, however if click on fruit, it will not show cytric folder and lemon product,
is there any setting in admin that i need to do in order to make the sub categories show up?

If I remember corectly you can not mix products and sub cats. If you have sub cats then the top cat must have no products only sub cats... if that makes sense

It can be done but you need to modify the core code to show the products and then all of the subcategories and products. I have it on my 2.3.4BS site and I'm currently looking at how to implement it in Phoenix.

Content module for index_nested (which shows subcategories).  Make a copy of cm_ip_product_listing.php and put it in includes/modules/content/index_nested.  Adjust file and class names and constant keys to match.

Always back up before making changes.
