Some questions about Phoenix

Recommended Posts

Hi Burt!
I have several questions regarding the further development of Phoenix:
1. Where in Admin can I edit information from the footer?

3.thumb.jpg.44b8aed8d1ba16805f2d0f3660f33a29.jpg
2. Will Admin implement category and XML data management? It's important for me. Some categories sometimes have to be hidden due to lack of offers.

3. Version 1.0.4.1 is uploaded to the github. Is this a complete release or is it still in the process? Will there be an update package for the previous version?

This is done in the language files though there is an addon to do this from admin.

Hello Lee.

Can you tell me which addon can be used for Phoenix? I also really need this.

Thanks,
Fred

All language files can be edited in admin by default no add-on is required.  Simply go to......

admin/tools/Define Languages

Thanks for your recommendation. I can edit language files.

But another question interests me. I need to edit the content. Not text, but content that includes images, video, and CSS formatting.

I wrote about this, but this topic probably interests me only.

Very weird strategy. In the official OSC, it was the admin / information_manager.php module. Now this is not there and the plans are not worth returning it? Hm ...

Information Manager was never part of official OsCommerce. It always was a contribution/addition you had to add.

It is possible Sure you are right.

Please tell me what was the name of this plugin?

There were several available for the older 2.2 and 2.3 OSC versions.

The most up to date is this one:

Information Pages SEO V 1.0

Denzel made a wonderful module:

I really like how addon works!
I used it to create several information pages. Using the Visiting Editor, this is very simple and very good. Your module solved one of my big problems with information content. I think your module needs to be developed and its functionality expanded.
The location of the module in the "Tools" group is not convenient for work. I managed to pull him into a separate box in the admin. Now the module can be easily expanded and turned into an "Information Manager".
The module can be viewed on the demo testing site: https://fenix.arbat22.com/index.php

Thank you Dennis so much and happy New Year for All!
