Please write links to these 2 add-ons

Search the addons area for them. They are easy enough to find.

Regarding finding apps for oscommerce
https://apps.oscommerce.com

I have found this "Ultimate Seo Urls 5 for Responsive Oscom" https://apps.oscommerce.com/Hj4y0&ultimate-seo-urls-5-for-responsive-oscom
I can not find Chemo's ultimate SEO URLs. I can see other ultimate SEO but not Chemos ?

Maybe the webmaster for this website: https://apps.oscommerce.com
should make a change to 3 characters so that it is possible to search for SEO in the search?

Here is the support thread for USU5, but the original author is no longer active on the forum:

The original author's code:

https://apps.oscommerce.com/5GV7s&ultimate-seo-urls-5-pro

There's also another updated version by another community member here:

https://apps.oscommerce.com/Hj4y0&ultimate-seo-urls-5-for-responsive-oscom

Here is Chemo's support thread:

Chemo's ultimate SEO URLS is here:

https://apps.oscommerce.com/36rDo&ultimate-seo-urls

Not sure if there may be another version people use.

Thank you for your reply.
But this contribution " Chemo's ultimate SEO URL version" is to the old non responsive version of oscommerce?

I have the responsive Installed version FROZEN: osCommerce Online Merchant v2.3.4.1 CE
Regarding the link you sent me to: Chemo's ultimate SEO URL: https://apps.oscommerce.com/36rDo&ultimate-seo-urls
Is this contribution going to work with my installed version: FROZEN: osCommerce Online Merchant v2.3.4.1 CE ?

And how is the URL displayed for a product with this "Chemo's ultimate SEO URL" version?

It is a must for me to have the model number and product name in the URL displayed for each product.
Which contribution is best for this and that works for FROZEN: osCommerce Online Merchant v2.3.4.1 CE ?

Thanks to all that try to help me. MANY THANKS TO ALL OF YOU.

I tried to install this contribution but failed: https://apps.oscommerce.com/Hj4y0&ultimate-seo-urls-5-for-responsive-oscom
I uploaded all files and followed the instructions but I probably failed becauseI did not understand the explanation regarding the .htaccess  file
So I ended up with a test site that was not working. So I uninstalled all this and deleted all uploaded files and my test site is working again.

Now I am going to try to install this contribution: https://apps.oscommerce.com/36rDo&ultimate-seo-urls

In my point of view the instructions regarding the .htacess file is only good if you are a programmer/developer.

Is there anyone who can explain this to me?

STEP #6 - Edit .htaccess file (in your catalog directory)

If you don't have an .htaccess file in your catalog directory create one.

If your store is located in a DIRECTORY you will have to change the RewriteBase line

NOTE: you will have to edit the "directory" to match your directory name!

rewrite base is not always required to be specified.

so first try commenting out that code by putting a # in front of that line and see if that works.

#RewriteBase /YOU HAVE TO CHANGE ME/

if that does not work post here again ...

It's getting late here ...

but the most commom mistake with htaccess is not naming the file correctly. it should be named .htacess - with no file extension and a DOT in front of the htaccess.

replace your htaccess contents with:

  # http://www.mysite.com = RewriteBase /

The .htacess file I have now starts with this in the top:

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
  Options +FollowSymlinks
  RewriteEngine On

and I have a lot of more things in the .htacess file.

Do you mean that I shall skip this above and just write exactly the code as you wrote it in an empty .htaccessfile?
