Hi everybody who love oscommerce webshopsystem, I am wondering what is the latest responsive version of oscommerce that is still updated and supported by oscommerce and by forum members and where can I download this version?

Thank you for your quick reply.
You sent me a picture link and in the top of this  I can read this:

"Example site of (more or less) 2.3.4 with Bootstrap 3.
http://template.me.uk/234bs3/index.php

Please point out any areas that you feel need attention.  Thanks

Gold Download:
https://github.com/gburton/osCommerce-234-bootstrap/archive/v2.3.4-GOLD.zip

EDGE:  Gold + Extra Commits such as bugfixes:
https://github.com/gburton/osCommerce-234-bootstrap/archive/master.zip "

And you also sent me this in text:
Frozen here https://github.com/gburton/Responsive-osCommerce/archive/2341-Frozen.zip

Edge here https://github.com/gburton/Responsive-osCommerce/archive/master.zip

Which of the above 4 versions is the latest version that works and is still in development?
What version should I use to install a functional respnsive webshop?

Avoid the "Gold" release ... it's quite old now. You should use either "Frozen" (stable release of "Edge", about 6 months ago), or if you're a bit more adventurous, "Edge" (unstable development version). If you have to ask, I would suggest "Frozen". There is a discussion about bug patches for Frozen that you should look at. Both versions are supported by the community here.

Hello again, I downloaded this version: Frozen https://github.com/gburton/Responsive-osCommerce/archive/2341-Frozen.zip
After installation when I login to admin  and click on Tools - Version Checker it says:

Version Checker pixel_trans.gif
Installed Version: osCommerce Online Merchant v2.3.4.1 CE
pixel_trans.gif

You are running the latest version of osCommerce Online Merchant.

And this version does not look the same as the Demo for the Frozen version. https://template.me.uk/frozen2bs4/index.php

I have downloaded and installed the Frozen version and it does not look like the Demo for Frozen?

I do not understand. Please explain what have I done wrong?

Thank you for your reply.
But I have already installed and tested these 2 versions:

Frozen https://github.com/gburton/Responsive-osCommerce/archive/2341-Frozen.zip
and
EDGE: Gold + Extra Commits such as bugfixes:
https://github.com/gburton/osCommerce-234-bootstrap/archive/master.zip "

AND
When I compared above 2 version with this demo version
https://template.me.uk/frozen2bs4/index.php
Both Frozen and EDGE seems to have much more work to do until it is possible to use it as a live webshop.
Just for example with both Frozen and EDGE when I created a customer account. I could not see my customer profile and I did not find any logout button when I was logged in as customer.
I also did not find any column on the right hand side after a successful installation.

So as I understand this, it is the  https://template.me.uk/frozen2bs4/index.php who is the winner so far in my point of view.
It seems like this version is the most functional version. So please Gary and other oscommerce members, please intense your work to this version because it looks, feels and works very good.
Where may I download this version that works and look like this demo?

Frozen and edge both work straight away once installed if you turn on some of the modules. Unfortunately there are no instructions that say you have to do this but if you go to the admin area and go to modules-content you will find loads that need to be installed. The same with the header tag options.

BS4 version although working, is a work in progress and there are very few if any addons for it yet, so anything you need you will have to code yourself.

REMEMBER BACKUP, BACKUP AND BACKUP

Thank you for your reply.
Your answer was very high appreciated.
Now I understand that this version is also very good: Frozen https://github.com/gburton/Responsive-osCommerce/archive/2341-Frozen.zip
Many thanks to everybody involved in this project.

You are running the latest version of osCommerce Online Merchant.

I am now very happy because this version is working.
Is there anyone who have a language module in Swedish language for the Frozen version?

3 years out of date but should be easy to update.

https://apps.oscommerce.com/JMNz7&swedish-full-language-pack-for-2-3-4-in

or simply let google do the work for you by adding this addon, Then you can have as many languages as you like.

The latest is :
https://github.com/gburton/Responsive-osCommerce/archive/2341-Frozen.zip

Keep in mind THAT only supports the front-END
Encouraged is to use the also bootstapped (v4) ADMIN what can be found here:
https://github.com/osc2nuke/Responsive-osCommerce

You need to be aware that both repositories are NOT compatible together at the moment.
But we are working on that!

Greetings from wHiTeHaT who encourage to go:
https://github.com/osc2nuke/BreadBuilder

Where the idea came from:

(Requires still lots of work .)

The "osc2nuke" appears to be a personal project. You are free to look at it, but be aware that it probably won't be supported here. Gary is continuing work on "Edge" (the semi-official current project) to implement Bootstrap v4 on both the store side and the admin side. It's still a work in progress.

Can you give more details about what you are working on?

Good to see progress being made by all. I recently tested the latest offering by  @Gyakutsuki   which is already Bootstrap 4, shop and admin and it's looking very good. So looks like we will have a good selection of options to move forwared with.
