♥JcMagpie 718 Posted May 17, 2018 Looks fine on PC and android phone. Grid and List change as expected layout looks fine with both large and small number of products. Havent spoted any issues. Did you have anything perticulaer you wanted tested.
♥JcMagpie 718 Posted May 17, 2018 Not sure if this is a problem but when I switch sort by from price to product name in grid view it some times shows another page brefly before changing sort! did not spot it at first as it dose not do it all the time. It looks like it brefly shows list view before going back to grid.
timray 3 Posted May 17, 2018 Sorting by either manufacturers or by the price/product name briefly shows list view.
burt 2,666 Posted May 17, 2018 That has always been the case (very brief show of list) if grid is selected, even with the old list/grid thing. No ? This is a signature that appears on all my posts. timray 3 Posted May 17, 2018 This is a side note and not an issue but when using sort by Price/Product name should it take you back to page 1 like it does when filtering manufacturers 1 burt reacted to this

burt 2,666 Posted May 17, 2018 (edited) The main reason I would like to use this new code is to dump this Cookie that the grid_list uses. If we can dump that Cookie, shopowners may no longer have to ask people to accept Cookies as all the Cookies in the Edge download are then absolutely required for it to perform its primary function => allow shoppers to buy your stuff. Please feel free to have your say on that. Edited May 17, 2018 by burt 2 1 ArtcoInc, azpro and Tsimi reacted to this This is a signature that appears on all my posts. ♥14steve14 404 Posted May 17, 2018 Good work Gary. Looks ok, and one less cookie to worry about hopefully. REMEMBER BACKUP, BACKUP AND BACKUP Before installing the official version of oscommerce first look at a responsive version here It's very easy to over complicate what are simple things in life

burt 2,666 Posted May 18, 2018 Thank you all for testing. Another bonus to this new system is that the page loads faster as it does not need to pull in this file; https://github.com/gburton/Responsive-osCommerce/blob/master/ext/jquery/cookie.js This is only a small file, admittedly. But it is an extra request that has to be performed. 1 less request = faster page. This is a signature that appears on all my posts.
