Just that the definitions instead in the main language file includes/languages/english.php, are now in the modules language files. Example: the main text for index.php is here: includes/languages/english/modules/content/index/cm_i_text_main.php I'm not sure what you mean by "about us" it doesn't sound me a core part. You should explore the module/file structure inside "includes/modules/". Then you'll find the correspondant language files within the same path inside the language directory.
