meldridge
I am new to osCommerce, created a product, then tried to edit it. This worked one time, but otherwise (tried about 20 times) I always get: ----------------------------- Error: the requested URL could not be retrieved The following error was encountered while trying to retrieve the URL: http://www.sandypointmodels.com/catalog/admin/categories.php?cPath=22&pID=29&action=update_product Zero Sized Reply Squid did not receive any data for this request. --------------------------- After this, the product still exists, but nearly all data has been reset (name is blank, price is 0, etc). The product image is still set to what it was before. The site is on Bluehost. Should I be trying to fix this in osCommerce or in Bluehost? mcmannehan
You should check the /catalog/admin/includes/configure.php and /catalog/includes/configure.php Is your installation in /catalog or in the the root of your server? Means without /catalog? The clever one learn from everything and from everybody The normal one learn from his experience The silly one knows everything better [socrates, 412 before Christ] Computers help us with the problems we wouldn't have without them! 99.9% of the bugs sit in front of the computer! ♥John W
You should read the whole set of instructions on setting up and securing your site. Your admin is wide opne to hacking and you just posted that in a public forum. Use SSL always for admin and rename the admin to something else like it's advised. Be secure from the start. I'm not really a dog.
