I have moved a friend's osCommerce 2.2 to a new server, and now he can access his admin area without even asking him for username or password. ♥kymation Posted April 4, 2016 Share Posted April 4, 2016 Most of the 2.2 releases had no security on the Admin. You were expected to use your host's control panel to password protect that directory. All of the 2.2 releases are obsolete and insecure. I'm surprised you even found a hosting service with an old enough version of PHP/MySQL that it will run on.
