Two quick observations ...

1) The site is not responsive, ie: it won't display well on a phone or tablet. In fact, I had to change the resolution on my screen here to view your whole site without scrolling left to right all the time.

2) Just out of curiosity, what does this mean?

Good luck!

I suppose you're currently working on your site, as I got:

  • Blank page on shop by team
  • Page not found on shop by category
  • Mysql errors in all the rest

I don't like the look, I'm missing some boundaries between sections, borders/panels - the layout confuses me as it is not clear if the header belongs to the stuff before or after it ... needs more spacing if you dont have borders or different backgrounds

KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON

I do not use the responsive bootstrap version since i coded my responsive version earlier, but i have bought every 28d of code package to support burts effort and keep this forum alive (albeit more like on life support).

So if you are still here ? What are you waiting for ?!

Find the most frequent unique errors to fix:

grep "PHP" php_error_log.txt | sed "s/^.* PHP/PHP/g" |grep "line" |sort | uniq -c | sort -r > counterrors.txt

Front page looks very basic, but it's ok. Once you go deeper into the website everything gets messy. The separation from the left column, middle column, and right banner isn't very clear.

have you thought about displaying your best items on the front page.  that may help give the audience a good idea of what your selling.

The old saying is "Pictures speak a thousand words".

I tried the first 8 categories that lead to sub-categories. Only 5 of 17 sub-categories have pictures.
I stopped there. Humans are visual creatures. Check the links below.

/baby-infants-c-1_290.html   3 categories and 1 picture

/shop-category/calendars-etc-c-1_137.html   3 categories and no pictures

/shop-category/car-accessories-c-1_10.html   3 categories and 2 pictures

/shop-category/christmas-novelties-c-1_40.html   4 categories and 1 picture

/shop-category/christmas-novelties-c-1_40.html   4 categories and 1 picture

Take care

Bill

Hi,

When I click on "add to cart" in the product page, it opens an image instead of adding to the cart.

Guys... this shopowner posted for a review in August 2015 and has not been on the forum since February 2016.

I suspect that this thread has been replied to for a different purpose...that remains to be seen.

This is a signature that appears on all my posts.
IF YOU MAKE A POST REQUESTING HELP...please state the exact version
of osCommerce that you are using. THANKS

Perhaps all entries in "review my site" should be purged after, say, one year? Keep only live, up-to-date shops in it. That will minimize its use for advertising (spamming) existing shops, and keep people from wasting their time on discussing old shops that may not even exist any more.
