Missing icons in Google Translate (2334bs)

Recommended Posts

For kicks, I ran my store through Google Translate. Some of the icons, which do show up when viewing the store normally, are not coming through the translation:

Any ideas why this might be happening? I seem to remember something about a problem with icons, etc if there were discrepancies with the http://<sitename> -vs- http://www.<sitename> in the configure files and/or the .htaccess files, but don't know if that applies here.

Thanks in advance!

Malcolm

I don't remember the details but as I recall this was discussed in the main BS thread a couple of times. I'm pretty sure a few solutions were offered as well...

@@Dan Cole

Thanks!

I searched back through the BS thread, and I *think* this was the answer:

http://forums.oscommerce.com/topic/396152-bootstrap-3-in-2334-responsive-from-the-get-go/?p=1694888

If so, my next questions are:

1) In what directory does this get added to the .htaccess file? The root directory, or the catalog directory? And,

2) Will Google read (and execute) the .htaccess file when it does a translate on the site?

Thanks!

Malcolm

Answer to question 1: inside the htaccess file under the catalog folder or your root folder. (the first htaccess you see)
