Dj-Viper Posted June 27, 2014 Share Posted June 27, 2014 Hi, Is it possible and correct if i do the following : Offline make all the changes to the 2.3.3 version files, the files that i have changed in 2.2 Make backup of 2.2 database and than make the database changes with the queries. Than copy all the files of the package of 2.3.3 with the updated files to the server overwriting all of the files of 2.2 shop. ♥joli1811 Posted June 27, 2014 Share Posted June 27, 2014 Would be better and easier if you create a new directory called development just beside your shop directory and install 2.3.4. then make the changes you need as regards addons . You would also in my opinion be best starting with a fresh database and importing then your customers /products etc.. although here opinions do vary some guys prefer to update the old data base adding the extra fields so up to you what you feel comfortable with.
