PayPal express checkout button not working

Suddenly, the PayPal express checkout button is not working. When my customer pressed it, it simply say "Waiting for mycompany.com". And then after about 5 minutes, it simply return to my company website saying "ERROR:" text.

 

Has anyone come across this? How to fix it?

No I have not seen it before. But it sounds like you are saying that it is actually on the PayPal site when you see the message "waiting for ...". Is that correct? If so you might want to contact PayPal support.
