bigbird_3156
Hi, I made some modifications to a shipping module and after uploading it to the website I can no longer see the (edit) (remove module) buttons in admin ... I can still edit the module by clicking on the action button but cant remove it.... does anyone have any idea how I would have done this??? and how to fix it???? Avec
I'm having the exact same issue. Osc 2.3.3 and trying to install USPS restricted methods
♥joli1811
Looks like a corrupt module (or possibly the module has been installed twice) you would be best going to phpmyadmin find your database look for the configuration table and then search for the module in question and remove manually . Remember it may be installed twice!! You can then try to reinstall in your admin and see if it works. Regards Joli To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often. Avec
I had tried that. I removed all configuration entries that began MODULE_SHIPPING. I also confirmed that the old USPS module and language file were not in the respective folders. The module was taken from the add-on fresh with no modifications before uploading. Other shipping modules can be edited fine, it is just this one. The module installs, but cannot be edited.
bigbird_3156
It worked for me Jeffrey.... At first I did not delete all the shipping tax classes at first and it did not work... once i deleted everything it worked fine.... I know you said you deleted everything but is it possible you left one or two files behind?
