Thank you, sorry I'll update my version and try to have a deeper look on this. For: str_replace(' ', '-', STORE_PHONE) : Hm, I just thought it's a way to allow white space for esthetic text output (dashes are not too correct in many languages/countries) and allow to use the correct dashes for the Tel: code. Or I'm wrong here and white space works too for dialing? :-) regards Rainer About Me: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/user/249059-raiwa/ Need help? auzStar
Sorry @@burt. I can't see the forest for the trees. I'm not trying to trash your code or anything, I recognise you do a great job here. I just thought this might be an oversight, just trying to help. I asked the question because some of the template files use the filename constants and some don't. Shouldn't we be consistent and keep the osc standard. burt
My task for this evening is to look again at the list/grid views (the one used in category listings page and elsewhere)...I've never been 100% happy with it. My idea is to recode it to make it simpler, with this I propose; in LIST view, show everything that is set up in the admin > config > product list options. These options will be shown in a definition list. Also the list view will show the cutoff product description: in GRID view, hardly anything is shown: Does anyone have wise words to input on this? The reason for this change is to simplify the code in the product_listing module, simplify the necessary .css and simplify the .js whilst also keeping the functionality. ♥Tsimi
what do you mean by "upgrading" to Bootstrap? regarding the buttons; this is the code for the "add to cart" button in the product_info.php <span class="buttonAction"><?php echo tep_draw_hidden_field('products_id', $product_info['products_id']) . tep_draw_button(IMAGE_BUTTON_IN_CART, 'glyphicon-shopping-cart', null, 'primary'); ?></span> to change that to Bootstrap-green use this <span class="buttonAction"><?php echo tep_draw_hidden_field('products_id', $product_info['products_id']) . tep_draw_button(IMAGE_BUTTON_IN_CART, 'glyphicon-shopping-cart', null, 'primary', '', 'btn btn-success'); ?></span> as you can see we just added this tiny code '', 'btn btn-success' you can change it to btn-danger or btn-info or btn-warning or just create and add your own class to it. Anything is possible in Bootstrap. Not to be a mood breaker but i think it would be better if you just create own topics for questions regarding customizing Bootstrap since Gary wants to keep this Thread clean of questions like that and only have stuff that concern the core code of osC Bootstrap. I highly recommend that you carefully read and bookmark the following links. Those all concern Bootstrap.
