Google and some other major search engines simply ignore them because they've been so abused in the past. If you do choose to use it, make sure it's honest (no black hat techniques or hijacking of terms) and reflects the content of the page. Otherwise, you could end up being penalized (especially by Google) and be in an even worse position than you are now. That said, use an add-on to provide you with that tag, rather than trying to figure it out yourself if you don't know PHP coding. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
