Just a thought, how would I get the details of the group onto the email that gets sent to the admin so that the admin can read the details and then check them?

You need to edit the code in the create_account.php file that starts with

 

// build the message content

 

Again you can add any fields you like here

The store owner does not receive any email notification upon visitor registration by default. This is easy to change, check here

 

You can add any of your new field into that email, either both versions or just the store owner version in the same way it is done for the default registration fields

With having 2 groups that the customer can choose from to get discounts. Can I have it so that if the customer selects the option "member of" they get the fields to fill in for the group, but if they select the option to "retail" they get different fields so that they can put their company's details in. Or do I have to have it so both options are showing at the same time?
