Ajeh
Are you able to through your FTP program view a file on your server? If so, view /includes/functions/general.php and see if they are still there. Also, are you on a Mac? And what are you using to edit your files with? doodles
I am able to edit the files in the control panel...I am not on a mac they were stll there....I don't know why....
Ajeh
Much of your problem is using Control Panel to edit your files. It is placing spaces and blank lines on critical files that are needed in the software and php does not like this. Do you have FTP access to your site? Do you have a nice FTP software? Did your hosting site provide you with the information to connect to your site via FTP?
doodles
I don't have the files on my hard drive to upload.......I do have FTP but I don't have the files to upload...
Ajeh
If you have FTP, you could make a directory on your computer C:internetoscommerce And download your whole site into that directory via FTP and now you have the whole thing on your computer Now you edit the files on your computer with something like UltraEdit or NoteTab Pro Then you reload the file via FTP back to your site. Keeping a copy on your local computer is also a good idea in case Joe Blow hosting site takes off for Bermuda tomorrow and your site fades away into the sunset. Ajeh
Yes. Once you connect to your website via FTP ... Place your empty directory C:internetoscommerce in the left panel and your oscommerce (like /public_html/shop) in the right Highlight everything on the right and click right there should be a Transfer option ... select that ... go get a smoke and in abywhere from 5 minutes to an hour depending on your connection the whole site is on your system ... Speaking of which ... I need a smoke ... :D

Ajeh
Coolness ... :D First bug is fixed. Your application_top.php appears to have had the blank spaces or lines or was damaged in some manner that you just fixed by editing and reloading it and I am no longer getting the errors on the pages I was getting them on before. Okay ... now let's go one step at a time. What is the first thing that appears broken to you? Be sure to test it first now that your application_top.php is working right. Ajeh
Okay now that the file is working. Peek at the copy of application_top.php that is on your computer and see what the: define('DISPLAY_PRICE_WITH_TAX', true); Is set to. Set to false and upload the file to /shop/includes if you see it is set to true
