Search results problem...

Having a strange problem with my osC 2.3.3 search results.

Example:

I enter Mustang in the quick find box (even with advanced search)...

The results will display lots or all of the Mustangs, but it will also display some items with Ford and Camaro in the name.

The Ford and Camaro products do not contain the word "Mustang" anywhere on the product page or title.

Any ideas on how to fix?

P.S. the word Mustang is in the title (product name) and description.

this bug fix is complicated. We could not know well your codebase. First you have to get the real query string and after test the query in direct via phpMyAdmin page.

You can get "Mustang" query by osCommerce query logging system or knock out with an edited false query when displayed in the shop page.

I am not surprised if "Mustang" like "must angel" or something else in the page :-)

I'm stuck!

Just loaded a fresh 2.3.3 install and ten products.

Still having screwy results as noted above.

Is there some way to get it to work nicely like my old 2.2 MS2 did?
