♥Tsimi
...I can't even keep up with my own code. it's sure difficult to keep track and support for each single add-on but you're doing a great job. some can't even offer decent support for one add-on you in the other hand have over 10. you reply fast to your support topics and the add-ons work like a charm. keep up the good work. Edited January 21, 2014 by Tsimi jeu4328
newburns
Is it possible to alter this so that the overlay happens based on a specific product attribute instead of a special?
♥kymation
Sure, just change the code to read the attributes tables and use the attribute you want to trigger the overlay in place of the specials field. ♥kymation
@@Omar_one As far as I know there isn't one. Yet. Since the Edge release is still underway, it's likely there won't be one until it gets finished/released/whatever. You could use the manual for osC 2.3.4 in the Downloads section (the manual is in the docs folder). Most of that still applies. This addon should work with the Bootstrap distributions, but you'll have to do some work to merge them. Unfortunately I don't have the time to produce a new version right now. Omar_one
thank you Jim, i will give it another try to install it on osC 2.3.4 Bootstrap. do you think that osC 2.3.4 Bootstrap Edge can be on live shop? I have webshop based on oscommerce 2.2RC2a. and i updated to oscommerce 2.3 Bootstrap Edge. of course old shop still live and new (Bootstrap Edge) in subcategory not yet. ♥kymation
Edge can certainly be used for a live shop. I've done that myself and can confirm that it works. It all depends on exactly what you want your shop to be able to do, and how much that differs from the stock Edge release. ♥kymation
If I get the time. Don't hold your breath. On the other hand, it doesn't require jQueryUI, so it will probably work as is. Just patch the files instead of replacing them. Regards Jim Quote See my profile for a list of my addons and ways to get support.
♥14steve14
Why not use CSS to add the text ribbon. Doesnt look that hard to do. A quick internet search will find many results.
