Help with Dynamic Template System by FoxP2

Please forgive my ignorance....I downloaded and installed the Dynamic_Template_System_V2_EN, and immediately stumbled on the first instruction:

 

♦ Step 1 : Execute SQL-en.sql file in php-my-admin.

 

Being unsure of how to do this, I uploaded the SQL-en.sql file to by osc database. All attempts to run sql query resulted in errors.

 

I went ahead followed the rest of the instructions in the contributions.

 

When I go to my store I get HTTP 500 error. Initally I just received a blank page-now the error is showing.

 

 

Apparently I am the only 'dummy' to this because the support thread for this download shows no one with this issue. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Where are all that slashes (///) coming from?

 

Did you open the .sql file in anything else than a plain text editor?

 

Download a fresh sql file and go on as follows

 

- open phpMyAdmin

- select your database

- click "import" on top

- press the "choose file" button and select the sql file on your computer

- press "go"

That is exactly what I originally did. I never opened the file in any program, I only imported to db and pressed go.

 

I repeated the process, the results are..

Inserted rows: 15

Inserted row id: 375 (Query took 0.0119 sec)

Do i press GO again to run query? The first time I attempted this I DID press GO to run query and received the error (as posted above)

Well, fact is that the slashes are causing the issue, maybe better you post in the addons support topic
