OSC-Sevilla
Right - after add all the addon and customising the store i am now ready to sort out my seo, urls and meta tags. what is the most straight forward way to do this. There are so many contrib and disscussion about this one or that one. What i want is: 1. the meta title, description and keywords auto generating... 2. some nice looking urls ----- i really dont want an addon that is gonna cause me a world of pain (given the variety i have a headache just choosing one, and the 1000+ pages of discussion). Many Thanks if you need a peek at my site you can pm me - just to see whats what. I have product specifications installed, filters etc etc... Thank you

Jack_mcs
ok, now slightly confused again - I am running a heavly modified store, with all the bells and whistles attached. ..... I have three clones of the store that i use to model addons and test before deploying to the final version. OK... SO WHICH IS IT? There's no one answer. There are pro's and con's for both. I could list a long list of reasons why I think my recommendations are the best but others could do the same for the others. It is up to you to research them and see which works best for you. See the links in Nick's signature to get and overview of the various packages and then visit the support threads of each and read various posts about them all. Contributions are free but not always easy. :) Support Links: For Hire: Contact me for anything you need help with for your shop: upgrading, hosting, repairs, code written, etc. All of My Addons Get the latest versions of my addons Recommended SEO Addons
GemRock
whats your definition of 'nice looking urls'? maybe it would be good to try/see before you buy/install? here is one: http://www uddwebsites co uk/osc231/ i dont want google to link it to this forum so you will have to add the 'dot' where it needs one. i call it 'humble seo urls', made by professional with dummies/non-dummies in mind. ♥Biancoblu
@@OSC-Sevilla OK... SO WHICH IS IT? You will find there are 2 schools of thought here in terms of SEO contributions, one being FWR Media's Ultimate SEO Urls 5 Pro and KISSMT Header Tags, the other being Jack's Ultimate SEO V2.2 and Header Tags SEO. I was using Jack's on my old shop and was happy with that, I'm now using FWRMedia's on my new shop and am equally happy, you need to read some threads and make up your own mind. The thing I have found (my personal opinion) is that you achieve better results if you stick with either all of Jack's or all of FWRMedia's and not mix and match. ~ Don't mistake my kindness for weakness ~
♥14steve14
I personally use jacks addons as they are also compatible with other addons that he does like all products seo and sitemap seo. But like you say it is down to preference and what you are used to really. Jack does also offer forum support, and does regularly update the addons.
