Hi,

Using v2.31 of OSCommerce.

Have PayPal set up as Payment Gateway (PayPal Website Payments Standard).

On CheckOut goes to PayPal - either input PayPal Account Info or use CC with no PayPal account.

During checkout of OSCommerce - Billing details are verified and Shipping details are verified, want to be able to show email address of customer and pass to PayPal so that when the order receipt comes back from PayPal the customer information includes name, address, city, state, zip, country and email address.

The email back from PayPal is Order Process with the customer information.

Thanks in advance for all the help.

Victor

You might be able to pass the customers email address to PayPal as a comment but PayPal won't accept it as a required field because it is not needed by PayPal.

  • 6 months later...

just tested paypal and it is required if the customers opt to pay without an account... also seems logic since paypal need an e-mail where they can send their confirmation e-mail

but pretty much everything else such as name and address is transfered... but not e-mail and phone number...

i have not set it as required myself...
