Hello, everyone!

I am talking about oscommerce 2.3

the two servers are on a Linux platform

I have installed on a website from scratch www.aaaa.com os.2.3 I made all the changes etc. ....

I do a backup via FTP saving the database using the admin section

I go on the other server www.bbbb.com/test/

I do a fresh install, I get everything working, I override the entire FTP server backup www.aaaa.com

delete using mysql (the database web interface connected) and do a restore of the database

nothing only errors ....

I can not display anything!

something mistake in the procedure?

thanks

L.C.

You should use PHPMYADMIN to create a back up of your database. Then, create a NEW database and import the backup into it. Be sure to change the two configure.php on the second installation to reflect the new database credentials.
