Need help, very old oscommerce

I have a oscommerce website that is using an oscommerce version since 5-6 years ago.

Is it possible to update it?

 

I get hacked almost every month, defaced index, malware, phishing, etc.

Please help, thanks.

Regardless of what version you are using your number 1 priority now is to cleanse your site to remove the hacker's code, then secure it.

If you're unsure how to do that you might want to invest into professional help because for as long as your site is vulnerable, you will keep getting hacked.

Version 2.3.1 fixes a lot of security holes, but some work is required to upgrade from 2.2 to 2.3.1, namely the database which needs to be modified to work on 2.3.1, as well as the addons you might have installed.
