[Contribution] Protx Form Payment Module - Updated

Mark Evans

Recommended Posts

The module has now been made to work with MS-1 and also is now self contained.

The module will also send the billing and shipping address to protx for AVS confirmation.

You can get the module from here

Great work on the contribution buddy, i'll be playing with this today. If i get any problems/bugs i'll let you know.

Do you have any plans to update the direct connection version to MS1?

Regards, Jay.

URGENT.

Mark - I dont believe this is working correctly.

For example.

(Site default currency = GBP)

GBP Transactions work.

EUR Transactions pass to Protx and are in EUR - BUT the value is in GBP.

It is as though it does not apply the exchange rate to EUR orders.

So EUR Orders are getting chraged default currency!

Please Help!

Thanks

Hi Mark,

I have just applied for a Protx account and have installed your contribution but it doesn't seem to work properly. When I get to checkout_payment the 'Credit Card-Protx Form' is displayed but when I click to continue I get an error saying 'Please select Payment Method for Your Order'.

Any ideas? :?

Graham

PS I am running MS1

I have just tested this in MS1 and the zones work as expected.

Are you using a clean MS-1??

Hello,

I am using Oscommerce MS2 (clean install) with Protx Form V1.04

It works perfectly and submits all data to Protx

The order is confirmed by email from Protx

however the problem comes after the protx validation when it trys to pass the customer back to the oscommerce site.

I get:

http://test.website.co.uk/catalog/checkout.....<cut>...

and after about 30 seconds I get a 403 error returned.

The checkout_process.php is chmod'd to 755 and works if you call it directly in a browser, it just seems unsure what to do after a trip to Protx?

Any thoughts?

BTW I exchanged the real URL with test.website.co.uk above... the URL returned from ProTx is correct...

Hi People,

Thanks for all the great work so far,

I am about to set up a shop and will be using PROTX payment. Does any one know if I should stick with ms1 or run with the new ms2 version. I have seen no update to the contribution with regards to it orking with ms2. Does any one know if it will work or am I setting my self up for a fall.

cheers

Murdock,

The Protx part works absolutely spot on.. all apart from my post above...

I think this is just something silly though.. I just can't work it out.. so here's hoping! ;)

As for MS1 v MS2, I had originally setup my shop using the old 2.2 version, I then jumped straight to MS2 and found loads of things worked faster and better... no problems to report at all (part form my protx issue) - if that helps ;)

good luck..

No...

all I've done so far is install a clean version of MS2 and then add the Protx Forms payment module...

I want to get that working 100% before I move on and do anything else... I figure that's the most important bit (getting the money!) so to prove it on a clean base seems the best route...

If I get it resolved you will be the 1st to know...

Cheers,

JJ

I get the following error message from a different web browser:

Error - 403

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Failed to read headers returned by server.

Headers were invalid or incomplete.

Does that throw any more light on my problem from above?

If it helps anybody, I found that if your Store name in ADMIN > CONFIG is more than 1 word long, it failed. Basically, if the store name has any spaces, then it seems to fail. for me anyway.

Removed the spaces and changed name to just one word... works a treat!

It solved all the above issues for me. Perhaps Im just lucky, im not sure. But, it now works a treat... now, all i gotta do is figure out how to set it so that it makes the payments "Pre auth" type, instead of just debiting the funds...any ideas gang?

cheers

Hello,

I've fixed the error I mentioned above and all is working spot on now.

the fault was due to the server configuration and it being located behind a d-link firewall / proxy device that was doing some weird port forwarding...

I gave the box a genuine IP and bypassed the dlink...

So in other words the ProTx form addon works fine with MS2...

Hi all

I'm using the latest 1.04 version of this contributions on MS1 with no problems, however I do need to find a way to make payments deferred by default, has this been mentioned anywhere?

If not does anybody have any suggestions as to where to start to modify the script :?:

Thanks

Andy
