dewed
Hey guys. I am really hopeful someone with a large brain and heart will convert the working AJAX Attribute Manager add-on to work with v2.3.1 I know it says there is one for that version, but it does not work, and the person that submitted it has NEVER posted to the forums. dewed
anyone ? Quote Just call me Dewed ...
dewed
It works already. I installed it on a 2.3.1 shop a couple of days ago. Could the problem be "you" rather than the contribution? Perhaps, although I've spent the past 5 years working with previous versions of OSC, and have probably installed over 300 contributions in a variaty of combinations. If I may ask, What is the link to the contribution your are talking about ? Is there some undocumented step, or pre-requisite add-on for it ? Does the documentation actually tell you everything you need to know ? I'm working on 2.3.1 with only one mod, so if the instructions are in fact accurate, I guess I will try again. dewed
Ok, I actually got it to work, but I'll stand by my statement, QC on submitted add-ons is lacking. Particularly documentation in this case. eg; if some of your products already have attributes, you will need to flush all option/value related tables in your database and re-enter them using the new method... and of course the new method isn't documented either. multimixer
Why don't you write a proper documentation and upload it to the package? Quote My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel

I'd be happy to as soon as I've finished my current project, paid my rent, taxes, fed my cat etc. Quote Just call me Dewed ...
