Guest
How can you tell what version of the API your USPS module is using? What I did was to search ...includes/modules/shipping/usps.php Somewhere in there you should find the begining of the $request = ... try searching for "request =" and see what follows it. The version we are using has this on line 500: $request = '<RateV4Request USERID="' . $Authentication[0] . '">' . So in this case we are using V4. FixItPete
Can somebody please tell what you do if your line looks like this: $request = '<RateRequest USERID="' . MODULE_SHIPPING_USPS_USERID . '" PASSWORD="' . MODULE_SHIPPING_USPS_PASSWORD . '">'; Or like this: $request .= '</RateV3Request>'; //'</RateRequest>'; //Changed by Greg Deeth April 30, 2008 Even in the case of the current osCommerce download it still shows V3 in the USPS module code... Can somebody tell me if this is just something that I can change the 3 to a 4 and that's it, or is there more to it? Thanks, Janet Quote I find the fun in everything.
