Hi all,

Please need help!!!! i have categories with a lot of pages, in the first page the url is correct www.my site.com/xxx-c-2.html. the problem is when i go to the next page in the same category (Previous - Next)i get www.my site.com/xxx-c-2.html?page=2 than page=3 ....

please help how can i get static urls for example www.my site.com/xxx-c-2-2.html or www.my site.com/xxx-c-2-page_2.html.

You cannot have static urls for these. In some ways the request for static urls is getting ridiculous.

 

The whole reason for the URL is to be a Uniform Resource Locator the page=2 loads a different resource, it loads the second page of categories in this case.

 

Probably the reason for your worry is duplicate content, is this correct?

 

If it is you need to install a contribution that creates canonical elements and noindex, follow tags in this case, there are a number that do this.

 

E.g. KissMT dynamically creates meta and canonical elements for osCommerce with no effort from you and installs in seconds.

Thanks very much for your quick help. i have installed the header tags seo + ultimate seo, i have no duplicate content because i put all products of each category in 1 page so i dont use pages links next and previous page (NO ?page=2 than ?page=3. but i dont like to have 50 products only in the same page category. that's all.

NEW PROBLEM PLEASE HELP !!!!!

Now when i click on the next button my url is www.mysite/?cPth=22&page=2 than www.mysite/?cPth=22&page=3. I ask if i have a mastake? i cannot have may pages in the same category?
