Sensitive folders bots look into?

Recommended Posts

So I secured my website as described in the "pinned" topic.

Also I have this bot trap that I've setup in different "sensitive" folders but I was wondering if you guys had more?

I've already caught quite a few bots (close to a hundred different IPs) with this setup and I've even added a few folders since I first "installed" it!

the folders I have now that (that bots looks into quite often!!!):

admin

mysql

sql

phpmyadmin

scripts

script

shop

Right now bots haven't looked into other folder than these, but you guy might have other experience!?

FYI, the bot trap I'm using comes from here : http://www.kloth.net/internet/bottrap.php

The guy suggest to insert a transparent .gif on your homepage (I didn't) and puts the trap in the folder "bot-trap" ... I would think bots are coded to avoid such folders, hence my multiple "sensitive" fake folders.

Why is it that when you're driving and looking for an address, you turn down the volume on the radio?
