Guest
Had a problem today after overloading my bandiwdth, the hosting company reccomend that i use 'file path images' rather than the images url's. Is this possible?? Or is there an add-on or alternative to help with this problem.
♥kymation
That is absolute nonsense. The alternative is obviously to find a competent hosting service. Regards Jim See my profile for a list of my addons and ways to get support.

♥kymation
If your goal is to decrease bandwidth, there are several things that you can do that will actually work. 1. Turn on compression in your Admin (Configuration >> GZip Compression >> Enable GZip Compression = true) 2. Make your images the proper size. If you are using osC 2.2RC2a, look at adding one of the "3 image" addons, and sizing your images correctly for the page. Stock osCommerce tries to use one image and resize in the browser. This is horribly inefficient. 3. Find a program that reduces the file size of images. There are online utilities that do this as well.
