in new to oscomerce i would like to change my templete

im completely new to all this type of installing

 

i can get the basic oscomerce template setup after that im not sure how to get the free template that i seen setup

 

any advise would be great thanks

 

also wich is easyer for me to use 2.3.1 or 30a5

None of those template are v2.3.1 or v3. They are all older versions

 

I don't think there are any templates for version 2.3.1 yet.

 

However, the best way to go is with v2.3.1

Ben,

 

The latest stable release is v2.3.1. v3.x is NOT stable so do not use it.

 

Having said that, you more than likely won't find any templates for v2.3.1 because it is so new and has a slightly different layout than previous releases. The template you referenced may work but would need to be changed to comply with the new v2.3.1 layout.

also ive been messin with the default page ive noticed on the page there is a information box how do i edit that its the place were the term and conditions also at the top of the page on the left under the banner there is 2 buttons Top » Catalog can these be edited 2
