USPS Shipping Methods unable to edit

Hi everyone, I just got my oscommerce website running from my local host. We're trying to tweak it out so it works for my business. I need to use the USPS shipping method as our shipping costs are based on weight and zip code. The problem we have is that when I go to the modules, then USPS shipping, then click on edit, I'm unable to select (or disallow?) any shipping methods. There's nothing there. It just says "Select the services to be offered" and then nothing is below it. Just the "update" and "Cancel" buttons. Also near the top of the page there is an error message.

 

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ')' in /usr/home/c80028x1/public_html/admin/modules.php(219) : eval()'d code on line 1

 

I'd like to get these last choices set up so I can start promoting the site.

I honestly haven't seen that error before and haven't "fiddled with" the USPS code for osC.

Read the manual that came with the contribution. The error is mentioned explicitly in case you don't do something (which you obviously didn't).

 

 

I wonder what wasn't done? Also wonder where I can get the manual.

The USPS module needs to be configured in the USPS.PHP file where you choose which services you are going to offer. Once complete, you can edit the prices and zip codes for each service you selected during the file edit.

 

Further, there really isn't a physical manual for it. The documentation that comes with the download is your 'mamual'.

I am having the same problem and error, I have searched for a fix and have still came up empty. as for the "manual" there has been no documentation with the last 4 modules. I have even tried a clean, out of the box osc2.2 with this being the first addon....error still applies.
