CSV sample to database to admin options

Hi everyone

 

Is it possible to take a CSV file for bulk uploading products to other stores and implement it inside the admin panel??

 

Currently I'm using a addon by bidorbuy to make an xml product list with description, pricing and image, but lacks half the information to list products through admin, it e.g. lacks guarantee, warranty options and product attributes mainly (many more but yes..)

 

So in essence: CSV tables be worked into admin and then use to xml export?

yes, it's possible. several modules available from contribution area.

it's very easy to update your current export script to able to export in CVS instead of XML

I require xml for the auto update of my shop products to bidorbuy which is not osCommerce, however the sample CSV - too complicated and manually updating a couple of hundred products

By using the xml, my products etc. is automatically updated once per day

 

Basically, taken the sample CVS posted, can I make my existing admin export(admin/bidorbuy.php) which is incomplete by lacking additional options, add export options as required or available by the CVS sample to output similar to sample xml(catalog/bidorbuy.php) + options indicated by CSV.

I guess it would be far fetched with a couple of database changes as it got it's own bidorbuy table, I'm not that good with php

 

Any direction as nothing like this is documented on the net
