Right now it seems that specials is done by a one by one case. I would like to mark down entire site say at a 20% discount. I have created myself an admin page to make it easier to do % discounts on whole categories and/or manufacturers, it is not exactly what you ask for, but it does need any database nor catalog changes, just an easy drop in the admin panel.
