Adding new Payment module

Im a newbie in OSCommerce and i would like to use it on my merchant.

 

Can someone help me on adding new payment module.

 

Let say i don't want to use paypal module but another one that is NOT listed in the payment modules.

Download the desired payment module from the add on area and follow the installation instructions.

Contact your existing merchant company and ask them if they have a drop in module for osCommerce. If not, then you are on your own if there is not one in the add ons section for your merchant company.

Thanks for your reply, I'm just wondering, is that mean that i have to create my own add-ons for new type of payment module? If that is so, where should i start or is there is some help i can get.

As Mark Suggested, I would contact the financial institution you want to integrate into your cart and see if they have a ready made module for oscommerce. Also, see if they allow osc website payments as a payment option. There is no sense creating a module if the financial institution is not going to let you integrate it into their system.

 

As far as help goes for creating a new module, get started on it.......then when you need some help, ask your questions, we will be here.
