NodsDorf Posted July 23, 2010 Share Posted July 23, 2010 Dealing with multiple different sites the weakest point for oscommerce for me has been the search. I have tried several modules or search upgrades, search suggest(ajax), quick find, search plus etc.. but have not found anything that does a good job at finding products in a high product count site. At this point I am kinda in the camp of just adding a google site search but noticed there is no contribution for this or at least I didn't find one. I've tried to mitigate the problems with the osc search by coding keywords into products descriptions but this still doesn't do a good job for misspelled words or close matches like Google does. Has anybody found a good search for oscommerce that can handle mis-spelled words or closest match product_models or product descriptions? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
