chadcloman
The additional code is causing an error because it belongs in your robots.txt file, not the .htaccess file. Check out Chad's News.
♥mdtaylorlrim
Too much information. You are going to give away all the file structure information about your site to hackers. In theory a robots.txt file is good, but in osC you really want to think about what you want in there. And with little to no security updates you would be sure to get hacked quickly. spooks
Yes, the robots is the first place hackers will look to find where to hack!! Do not put in there locations that the bots would never find anyway, ie there are no links from the catalog to admin, so putting admin in robots just says where to look to apply a hack!! ♥mdtaylorlrim
That means...I should not put robot.txt file in my shop....? That only means that you should be selective about what information you put into your robots.txt file. Community Bootstrap Edition, Edge Avoid the most asked question. ♥mdtaylorlrim
what do you put in a htaccess file? How did you get this info? .htaccess files are the 'local' version of almost anything that can be used in a server's conf file.
