hi....newbie here!

i need to setup an existing oscommerce site to accept paypal....

there are two options in the payment module section that i can choose to install: paypal & paypal (Credit Card / Debit) or ipn....

do i need to install both modules or is one preferred over the other?

thanks in advance for your help!

ok....i'm thinking the paypal option is used for paying with a paypal account only and paypal ipn is for processing debit/credit cards through paypal....do i have to install both to accept paypal payments as well as cc payments through paypal....

the client already has a credit card processing module installed so not sure if that makes a difference in what modules i need to install....

thanks again,

ww : )

Normal PayPal module have bugs, like if customer close the browser after payment @ PayPal, the module will lost the order and the order never will be recorded to oscommerce database.

Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here!

8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself.

Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.

Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
