Pricing based on customer's previous order

I am looking for a contribution where I can have the price of a product different depending on if the customer has ordered it before. I sell digital cards for $10. If a customer buys a specific card and then later wants it modified I want it to only cost $1.00. so when they go and look at that same card again instead of it saying that it is $10 it will only say $1. That way I don't have to keep track who bought which card, etc. I looked at the separate price per customer, but it seemed that there were only 2 groups, retail and wholesale. I thought about creating different groups with the person's name, but I could have over 100 groups. There has got to be a simpler way to fix this problem. Thanks for all your ideas.

Brooke,

What you could do is install a Discount Coupon Code contribution. After the initial purchase, you send that customer a unique discount code that would discount that product -9.00. This will also allow you to track the customers purchasing of the cards in the reports.
